The Devonshire Papers are usually called the Lismore Papers, being the papers of the Boyle family (Earl of Cork, Orrey etc) and their Lismore Estate. The originals are in the National Library with microfilm copies in the Waterford Library, though the quality of the latter may be suspect. The estates and the papers passes to the Duke of Devonshire through marriage with the Boyles. ...
